If there is a domestic car that has been admired and continues to be admired abroad, then it is in front of you. The fame of the Avtoros Shaman has already gone far beyond Russia: the domestic amphibious all-terrain vehicle is admired in the UK, the USA, and Canada. That's because this car feels equally confident on both hard surfaces and on water. The 6.3-meter colossus has a drive on all eight wheels, which can be used as propellers on the water. In addition, a separate propeller provides additional thrust on the water.
Special pumps with high capacity (up to 200 liters per minute) help to get rid of the water trapped in the boat. Forced fluid discharge is also provided using separate valves. All the transmission elements of the all-terrain vehicle are mounted on the sturdy closed frame of the original design. The independent suspension of all wheels and ultra–low pressure tires guarantee that the Shaman will travel almost everywhere. Due to the fact that all eight wheels are steerable, the Shaman turned out to be very maneuverable – an invaluable skill off-road.
The car is powered by a 3-liter Iveco turbodiesel. With a power output of 146 hp and a maximum torque of 350 Nm, the Shaman can accelerate up to 70 km/h on land and up to 7 km/h on water. Fuel consumption is about 25 liters of diesel fuel per 100 km. With a mass of 4.6 tons, the Shaman is more than modest. The volume of fuel tanks is 260 liters. So the amphibian will have no problems with the power reserve. Without additional training, the Russian Shaman is able to overcome swamps, impassable tundra, and water obstacles. The dimensions of the car fit into the width of Russian roads, so it will not interfere with other road users.
The snowmobile is offered in two versions. The "Tourist" version will comfortably accommodate eight travelers in the cabin at once. An individual comfortable armchair with a wide range of adjustments and seat belts is provided for everyone. The shaman performed by "Hunter" provides for the presence of multi-seater seats, which instantly turn into four full-fledged berths. All that remains is to choose a direction and go full speed ahead!
