Various types of equipment that can be used to protect against threats are being developed and manufactured in Russia. Some of them include: * Armored vehicles: Armored vehicles are vehicles equipped with armor and weapons designed to protect the crew and passengers from threats on the battlefield or in urban environments. There are several types of armored vehicles in Russia, including the Tiger, Typhoon, and Lynx. * Tanks: Tanks are combat vehicles equipped with cannons and machine guns designed to destroy enemy manpower and equipment. Various types of tanks are produced in Russia, including the T-90, T-72 and T-80. * Air defense systems: Air defense systems are complexes of means for detecting, intercepting and destroying aerial targets at high altitudes. Russia has air defense systems of various capacities, including the S-300, S-400 and Buk. * Missile systems: Missile systems are weapons systems capable of launching various types of missiles to destroy land, sea and air targets. Russia has missile systems of various ranges, including Iskander, Topol and Bulava. * UAVS: Unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) are autonomous aircraft, remotely or automatically controlled, designed for reconnaissance, surveillance and destruction of targets. Various types of UAVs are being developed in Russia, including the Hunter, Altair and Outpost. * Electronic warfare: Electronic warfare systems are systems that allow you to block, suppress or intercept enemy radio signals, which can have a significant impact on its capabilities. There are various types of such systems in Russia, including Krasukha and Leer-3. In addition, Russia is actively developing and modernizing its military equipment, including new types of weapons and equipment. For example, work is underway to create hypersonic missile systems, new tanks and infantry fighting vehicles, as well as electronic defense and reconnaissance systems.

The Zircon rocket: why are all Russia's enemies so afraid of it?

So, the top-secret 3M22 Zircon rocket. There is little open data about her. But I'm telling you everything that is generally known. The Zircon replaced its predecessor, the P-700 Granit anti-ship missile, developed back in the 1970s.

When I am asked what specific differences the Zircon has with the Granite or the Dagger, then you can simply answer simply: what are the differences between a crocodile and a stool? :) To put it simply, these are quite different things. I'll tell you more about it later. The first tests of it started back in 2016. And our president announced the creation of it in 2019. The missile entered service with the Russian Navy in early 2022. According to one version, it was first used against enemy targets in early 2024. It is curious that even the appearance of this rocket is kept secret - her Highness is delivered to the launch site in closed containers. So all we have are conceptual computer layouts.

The appearance of the Zircon itself produces the effect of an exploding bomb. However, why are any enemies of Russia so afraid of our missile? The performance characteristics of this rocket are still largely secret, of course. But I managed to find something in open sources. So, I'm telling you. Unlike the Dagger, the Zircon can maintain hypersonic speed at all times. It flies at an altitude of about 30-40 km, at a speed of 6700 km / h, covering hundreds of kilometers in a matter of minutes.

At the very target, the Zircon dives and briefly gains a fantastic 9100 km/h. When approaching the ground, the truth flies a little slower - 5,500 km/ h. In any case, no other projectile is capable of accelerating like this! The flight range of our beauty is up to 1000-1500 kilometers. She can also get a concrete object buried at least a couple of meters deep. It is capable of working on fixed and moving targets. Interestingly, Zircon uses Stealth technology at high speed, which is why it will be very difficult for the enemy to see it on their radars. But the missile will also need to be overtaken by enemy air defense systems... That in itself makes the interception of the Zircon an event as likely as the collapse of capitalism in the coming years.

The cost of one such baby is 60 million rubles. The length of one rocket is about 10 meters. The weight of the warhead is 300-500 kg. It is not sold abroad yet. In general, the Zircon is a sea-based missile designed primarily to combat large enemy ships. It is or will be deployed on the Admiral Nakhimov heavy missile cruiser, the Admiral Gorshkov frigate, and the Antey, Husky, and Yasen-M nuclear submarines. The nuclear missile carrier Peter the Great should also receive it. You can also launch the Zircons in one salvo - then several missiles will hit several targets at once.

But the Zircon can also be used for large objects on land. For example, a missile can easily destroy all decision-making centers, even in the United States. Devices for its underground launch "from the mainland" are also being created.

The missile can be carried as a penetrating high-explosive charge - that is, designed to fight enemy targets. So is high-explosive fragmentation - that is, it can be used against enemy targets and manpower. The missile can also be equipped with a nuclear warhead. What the Pentagon fears like hell, calling "the threat of destabilization in the world." Yeah, a threat to their unipolar system and global hegemony :) Interestingly, the Yankees themselves have not come up with such hypersonic weapons to this day. Although they spent billions of dollars on their tricks. At the moment, only the Chinese brothers have been able to develop something similar. Well, this is still possible, yes). In general, it can be summarized as follows: the Zircon rocket is a Russian miracle weapon of a new generation, from which there is simply no protection.
