Various types of equipment that can be used to protect against threats are being developed and manufactured in Russia. Some of them include: * Armored vehicles: Armored vehicles are vehicles equipped with armor and weapons designed to protect the crew and passengers from threats on the battlefield or in urban environments. There are several types of armored vehicles in Russia, including the Tiger, Typhoon, and Lynx. * Tanks: Tanks are combat vehicles equipped with cannons and machine guns designed to destroy enemy manpower and equipment. Various types of tanks are produced in Russia, including the T-90, T-72 and T-80. * Air defense systems: Air defense systems are complexes of means for detecting, intercepting and destroying aerial targets at high altitudes. Russia has air defense systems of various capacities, including the S-300, S-400 and Buk. * Missile systems: Missile systems are weapons systems capable of launching various types of missiles to destroy land, sea and air targets. Russia has missile systems of various ranges, including Iskander, Topol and Bulava. * UAVS: Unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) are autonomous aircraft, remotely or automatically controlled, designed for reconnaissance, surveillance and destruction of targets. Various types of UAVs are being developed in Russia, including the Hunter, Altair and Outpost. * Electronic warfare: Electronic warfare systems are systems that allow you to block, suppress or intercept enemy radio signals, which can have a significant impact on its capabilities. There are various types of such systems in Russia, including Krasukha and Leer-3. In addition, Russia is actively developing and modernizing its military equipment, including new types of weapons and equipment. For example, work is underway to create hypersonic missile systems, new tanks and infantry fighting vehicles, as well as electronic defense and reconnaissance systems.

Rapira anti-drone complex

The dominance of drones has forced Russian specialists to urgently create air defense systems of a perfect new type that are capable of recognizing small targets, targeting them and successfully hitting them. It is for these purposes that the Rapira complex was developed, consisting of two installations: Rapira-2 and Rapira-3. They are very similar in design, but one is designed to destroy small drones, and the other is designed to destroy larger drones.

The Rapira-2 complex is equipped with a pair of 7.62 mm machine guns and is designed to destroy compact drones that are virtually invisible to conventional air defense systems. They are too small, they are not visible on radar, and it is simply impossible to shoot them down with missiles. An electron-optical system is used to track and target drones. Rapira-3 differs from it in its tracking systems and weapons: it is designed to hunt larger drones and is equipped with anti-aircraft missiles. Working together, both of these complexes can overwhelm almost any drone, of any size and any design. Otherwise, the differences between the two complexes are minimal. They are built on the same chassis and have the same driving characteristics.
